Windsor, Glendale

Sarah says: “On 4 ½ acres, Windsor in Glendale is a great retirement community for older adults who are looking for care-free independent living with a little bit of support. A continuing care retirement community (CCRC), Windsor offers 73 independent apartments, 28 assisted living units and 23 skilled nursing beds on its campus. Windsor is a non-profit 501c3. Residents have a say in decision-making on everything from activities to rate increases. Residents run the on-site convenience store and a very well-stocked library of resident donated books.”

Studios in the independent wing of Windsor cost $3600/month. The prices in assisted living are bundled according to level of care needed. One-bedroom units start at about $5200. Prices include all meals, cable and Wi-Fi, scheduled transportation, emergency response system, housekeeping and activities.

Windsor has beautifully landscaped grounds and patio areas, farm-to-table dining, a well curated event calendar and a pet-friendly environment.
